The Office of International Affairs at National Chung Cheng University (CCU) hosted the Fulbright Scholarship and Study in the U.S. Information Session on May 2, 2025. The event drew a large number of Professors and students, who gathered to learn about scholarship opportunities for pursuing further studies, conducting research, and serving as Mandarin language teaching assistants in the United States.
The session featured keynote speakers Ms. Lisa Lin, Program Director at the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange, and Ms. Jaynie Cheng, Education USA Advisor. The session also included practical guidance on study options in the U.S. and key points in the application and review process.
The Fulbright Program supports a diverse range of participant. For scholars, the program offers the Senior Research Award and the Experience America Research Award, as well as the Scholar-in-Residence Program (SIR). For students, Fulbright provides the Doctoral Dissertation Research Award and the Graduate Study Award to support academic advancement. Teachers and language teaching assistants may apply for the Distinguished Award in Teaching Program for International Teachers (DAI) and the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program.
