CCU OIA Hosts Fulbright Scholarship and Study in the U.S. Information Session
The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at National Chung Cheng University hosted the “Fulbright Scholarship and Study in the U.S. Information Session” on May 8. Representatives from Fulbright Taiwan and EducationUSA were invited to share information and experiences related to studying and conducting research in the United States. The event was attended by students interested in overseas study, academic exchange, and international opportunities.
The session was presented by EducationUSA adviser Jaynie Cheng, who introduced the U.S. higher education system, application procedures, and preparation strategies for studying in the United States. The presentation also covered opportunities related to master’s and doctoral degree programs, professional research, and Chinese language teaching initiatives, helping participants gain a better understanding of the various pathways available for academic advancement and international exchange.
The event also introduced the Fulbright scholarship programs, including opportunities for graduate study, academic research, professional exchange, and Chinese language teaching in the United States. Participants actively engaged in discussions and raised questions regarding application qualifications, document preparation, and campus life in the U.S., demonstrating strong interest in overseas study and global development opportunities.
Through this information session, CCU OIA hopes to further assist students in understanding international academic resources and encourage them to actively explore overseas learning and research opportunities, broaden their global perspectives, and enhance future development possibilities.
