CCU Hosts 2026 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo to Showcase Student Startup Achievements

To encourage students to explore diverse paths in innovation and entrepreneurship and to showcase the practical achievements of campus startup teams, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base at National Chung Cheng University (CCU) held the "2026 CCU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo" on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the plaza in front of the Activity Center. The event invited faculty, students, and the public to exchange creative ideas, explore career options beyond further education or traditional employment, and experience the vibrancy of campus innovation.

The expo featured a curated selection of startup teams supported by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base. Teams included Shanjian Outdoor, ROSE, Xinyuan Technology, Readii, Weicheng Fitness, Angel Baby, Yinmi Guxia, BT San Technology, and Wolong Industrial. Additionally, the College of Management’s sub-project 1-5, "Creating Your Agile Employability," also participated, bringing the total to ten booths. The event fostered a dynamic environment where participants engaged with entrepreneurs to learn about the process of transforming ideas into market realities and gained inspiration from their real-world stories.

In addition to the team showcases, a dedicated booth was set up to introduce students to the university’s entrepreneurial resources and support programs. To enhance engagement, the organizers planned interactive tasks and a lucky draw. Participants who visited the booths and completed feedback forms were eligible to win prizes, allowing students to learn about the startup ecosystem in a relaxed atmosphere.

Vice President Hsin-Yuan Hung, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base at CCU, stated that the expo not only showcased the long-term support provided to startup teams but also encouraged students to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Through experience sharing, students gained a deeper understanding of the skills and challenges involved in entrepreneurship, which helped stimulate their creativity and drive.

The event attracted over 500 attendees from across the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan region. By providing a platform for showcasing achievements, the expo aimed to connect internal and external resources, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and cultivate young talent equipped with innovative thinking and practical capabilities.
