“2nd Taiwan Online Trust and Safety Assembly” Was Grandly Held at National Chung Cheng University on October 28

The 2025 Taiwan Online Trust and Safety Assembly (TOSA) was grandly held on October 28, 2025, at National Chung Cheng University (CCU). Centered on the themes of “Online Safety” and “Digital Trust,” the forum brought together experts from industry, government, and academia to explore emerging challenges in cybersecurity governance, digital trust, and risks in the age of artificial intelligence. The event was marked by vibrant knowledge sharing and professional exchange, symbolizing Taiwan’s continued advancement toward deeper collaboration and critical thinking in the field of online information security.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Chiayi County Deputy Magistrate Pei-Tung Liu, CCU Chief Secretary Ai-Tzu Li, Chief Information Officer Jung-Kuei Chang, Deputy Executive Director Pi-Ching Lee of the Executive Yuan Yun-Chia-Nan Joint Service Center, Director Chia-Hua Tsai from Legislator Kuan-Ting Chen’s Office, and Director Chen-Liang Lai from Legislator Yi-Yu Tsai’s Office, among others. Their presence underscored the government’s strong commitment to cybersecurity issues and recognized CCU’s long-standing contributions to fostering collaboration between the public, private, and academic sectors in the Yun-Chia-Nan region.
The forum featured keynote speeches from Professor Iuon-Chang Lin, Distinguished Professor at the Department of Information Management, National Chung Hsing University; Yen-Ju Chou, Chief Information Security Officer at Coupang; Dr. Cheng-Lin Yang, Director of Data Science at CyCarrier; Deputy Commander Tsung-Wen Hou of the Criminal Investigation Corps, Chiayi County Police Bureau; and Dr. Kuang-Fu Huang from the Institute of Criminology, CCU. The speakers offered deep insights into topics such as digital trust frameworks, AI security, corporate cybersecurity governance, and anti-fraud practices, providing participants with both forward-looking perspectives and practical takeaways.
