CCU Club Expo & Welcome Party Held on Sept. 3 — 54 Student Clubs Showcased Their Endless Charms
National Chung Cheng University (CCU) hosted its annual highlight event, the 2025 Student Club and Organization Expo and the Club Welcome Party, on September 3. With 54 student clubs and organizations participating, the day-to-night celebration featured a vibrant showcase of performances, interactive activities, and exciting prizes, marking a colorful start to university life for incoming freshmen.
The daytime Club and Organization Expo ran from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along CCU’s Bauhinia Avenue. During the “Club Craze Stamp Rally,” freshmen collected stamps by engaging with club booths; those with five stamps redeemed ice treats, bookstore vouchers, or other gifts. In the “Club Popularity Contest,” students cast votes for their favorite clubs, and the top five received special recognition. Additionally, during “Flash Mob Performances,” eight clubs, including the Percussion Club, Chinese Orchestra, Pop Music Club, and Korean Culture Club, made surprise appearances and delivered lively, spontaneous performances.
The spotlight shifted in the evening to the Welcome Party at the Activity Center Auditorium, an event that sells out every year. The lineup was dazzling, featuring spirited cheers from the Cheerleading Club, pure harmonies from the A Cappella Club, and performances by the Choir, Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Club. Diversity was further showcased through the Anime Club, Hip-Hop Club, Guitar Club, and Dance Club. Special highlights included a mesmerizing light performance by the Fire Arts Club and a martial arts weapon showcase by the Chinese Martial Arts Club, representing a stunning display of strength and beauty.
According to CCU’s Division of Extracurricular Activities, Office of Student Affairs, the Expo and Welcome Party aimed to introduce freshmen to the vitality and unity of CCU’s student organizations. The university encouraged newcomers to participate, explore, and create unforgettable memories as they embarked on their college journey.
On September 3, CCU invited all freshmen to immerse themselves in the energy of student clubs, experience the passion of campus life, and celebrate an unforgettable day together.
