Making Wonderful Memories with Friends at Library Photo Booth
To welcome the freshmen of the 114th academic year, the library's Freshman Week series, "Adventures in the Pineapple Field," kicked off on September 3rd. This year's event included a library tour specifically designed for freshmen, a food and cultural market, and art exhibitions. The library also introduced its first-ever photo booth, a Korean-imported photo booth! These limited-time, back-to-school-themed frames capitalized on the popular photo booth trend among university students, instantly making the library a popular spot. The finished photos, reminiscent of commemorative posters, became the perfect memento of a wonderful start to their university journey.
For this Freshman Week photo booth event, the library specially designed four HAPPY FRESHMAN YEAR frames, offering a variety of styles and frame sizes. Following the machine's clear instructions, users could create vintage newspaper-like commemorative photos in under a minute, perfect for students to share with family and friends.
The library's photo-sticker machine, which ran from September 3rd to 10th, created a buzz among freshmen during orientation week. After the start of the semester, the library lobby was packed with people every day, with seniors and friends flocking to take photos. During this period, students enthusiastically shared on social media: "Rush to the library right after class to take photos," "The quality was amazing, everyone please come take photos," and "It's only NT$100!" The organizer, the National Chung Cheng University Library, stated that they were even pleasantly surprised to receive calls from students from other schools asking if they could also try out the photo-sticker machine. They also hoped that both faculty, students, and visitors could visit the library to take precious photos and make the most of its rich collection.
