The Commercial Times, in collaboration with National Chung Cheng University's AIM-HI Center and National Cheng Kung University's College of Intelligent Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing, jointly hosted the "2024 AIM-HI Industry Advisory Committee" event on December 17. The event invited representatives from industry, government, academia, and research institutions, as well as individuals interested in semiconductor industry development and talent cultivation, to serve as advisory committee members. They discussed the latest technological developments in smart machinery and proposed concrete measures for advancing technology commercialization.

The "2024 AIM-HI Industry Advisory Committee" meeting focused on "Smart Manufacturing and Semiconductor Industry Integration," exploring in depth the latest technological developments in smart machinery, concrete measures for technology commercialization, industry-academia-research cooperation and investment opportunities, and talent development strategies.

The Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations (AIM-HI Center) at National Chung Cheng University has been deeply rooted in local industry for many years and serves as a crucial driving force for smart manufacturing technology development and industrial innovation in central and southern Taiwan. Based on Chiayi's advantageous geographical location connecting the central and southern technology industry corridor, the meeting aimed to gather professional opinions from various sectors to jointly promote regional industrial upgrading.

The AIM-HI Center is dedicated to developing next-generation "intelligent precision manufacturing technologies" and is the only forward-looking center focusing on manufacturing systems in the Top University Project. The AIM-HI Center has also invited well-known domestic and international companies to establish an industry advisory committee, consolidating industry-academia consensus and maintaining market sensitivity in research. Through insights from international experts, scholars, and industry leaders, the center aims to achieve excellence.

Providing investment opportunities for participants, and promoting industrial development, this event focused on the semiconductor industry, with discussions centered on "Smart Manufacturing and Semiconductor Industry Integration," examining the latest technological developments in smart machinery. It aimed to establish cooperation opportunities, enabling participants to more effectively become part of the supply chain, thereby strengthening industry-academia connections, building consensus, and working together towards win-win goals.
