Li Wai Foon and Chan Ping SunMemorial Scholarship Ceremony Inspires Excellence
On December 17, 2024, the Office of International Affairs hosted the Li Wai Foon and Chan Ping Sun Memorial Scholarship Award Ceremony—a momentous and inspiring event. The ceremony was honored by the virtual presence of Dr. Chan Ho Sum, the scholarship donor, who joined faculty and students to witness this special occasion.
This year, 10 students were awarded the Li Wai Foon and Chan Ping Sun Memorial Scholarship, with six attending the ceremony in person. These students have shown exceptional academic dedication and achievement, serving as inspiring role models for their peers. During his address, Dr. Chan highlighted that this honor is not a culmination but a fresh beginning. He urged the students to remain humble and curious, embracing a spirit of excellence that fosters both personal growth and positive societal impact.
