National Chung Cheng University’s Advanced Chinese Language Program Showcases International Excellence: A New Chapter in Cultural Exchange with Hung Jen Senior High School
On December 6, National Chung Cheng University (CCU) hosted its Advanced Chinese Reading and Writing Program Showcase in Room 312 of the General Classroom Building. The event celebrated the remarkable achievements of international students in reading and writing while fostering cultural exchange through the participation of 45 teachers and students from Hung Jen Senior High School. Together, they created a vibrant cross-cultural experience that underscored the value of learning and integration.
The Chinese Language Center at CCU is renowned for its excellence in teaching, driven by professional expertise and innovative methods. The Advanced Chinese Reading and Writing Program exemplifies this dedication by providing personalized instruction tailored to individual needs. This semester, the program supported 20 international students from diverse backgrounds in improving their Chinese language proficiency. The curriculum included meticulously designed reading exercises, comprehensive writing practice, and customized learning plans, equipping students with both academic and practical language skills.
A standout feature of the event was the participation of Hung Jen Senior High School’s delegation, which added an exciting dimension to the showcase. Through interactive life and learning experience sharing, students from both schools deepened their cultural understanding and language abilities. Hung Jen students expressed admiration for the international students' fluency in Chinese, while the latter gained confidence in their communication skills through real-world interactions. Teachers and students from Hung Jen Senior High School commended the academic excellence demonstrated by CCU and expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations to further strengthen cultural and educational ties.
