For promoting the profession of legislation and interaction of alumni of both National Chung Cheng University School of Law and National Taipei University College of Law, MOU signature was taking place

The Alumni Association of the School of Law at National Chung Cheng University (CCU) and the Alumni Association of the College of Law at National Taipei University (NTPU) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on October 26, 2024, formally establishing a partnership aimed at fostering friendly relations and exchanges. The cooperation primarily focuses on strengthening connections between alumni of both universities, advancing the development of the legal profession, and creating more collaborative opportunities for both sides. Moreover, the cooperation would be a landmark to symbolize the relationship between the two alumni associations showing both would move forward together and build up a firm foundation for future cooperation.

The MOU of both parties was signed by President Chen Tse-Chia (representation of CCU School of Law Alumni Association) and President Chi Keng-Yen (representation of NTPU College of Law Alumni Association). The signing of MOU symbolizes the opening of a new start for collaborating between each other. Many VIPs also took part in and seeing this important moment, including the Dean Sheng Tzu-Lung, the Department Chair Yao Hsin-An and the Alumni Association Secretary General Hsu Cheng-Yin of CCU School of Law, the Executive Director Hsu Chien-Hung and the Secretary General Lin Meng-I of NTPU College of Law Alumni Association, as well as faculty, students, and other distinguished guests from both associations.

This MOU covers multiple areas, including academic exchange, professional education, legal practice, talent exchange and alumni interaction. Both sides will jointly organize academic seminars, online and offline legal-themed lectures and professional workshops, offering abundant learning and growth opportunities for alumni and students. This collaboration positions the alumni associations not only as platforms for alumni connection but also as powerful forces promoting the development of the legal profession.

This cooperation is just a beginning, and more diversified plans will be rolled out in the future. The alumni associations of both universities will leverage their respective professional strengths and integrate development resources to create more value and opportunities for alumni. This partnership not only shows their strong mind to move forward together but also aims to promote joint growth in legal academia and practice, providing diverse platforms for growth and talent exchange to alumni.
