The delegation from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), visited to congratulate National Chung Cheng University on its 35th anniversary.
The 35th anniversary celebration of CCU was grandly held on October 26, with a special visit from an important guest from Thailand—the delegation from CCU’s partner university, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). The delegation was led by Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT, adding international significance to this anniversary event.
As a key international partner of CCU, KMUTT has a long and profound history of academic and cultural exchanges with our institution. Since the signing of the memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation between both universities in 2016, CCU has sent multiple faculty teams to KMUTT for recruitment and academic collaboration. The two universities have also continuously exchanged students for internships and research, creating valuable opportunities for academic exchange.
Dr. Suvit Saetia, invited to Taiwan for a conference, learned of CCU’s 35th anniversary celebration and decided to extend his stay to congratulate his sister school in person. He later participated in an international exchange camp organized by the Office of International Affairs at CCU, where he delivered a keynote speech sharing KMUTT’s experiences and insights on international cooperation, further deepening the partnership between the two institutions.
President Dr. Shaw-Jenq Tsai of CCU warmly welcomed the KMUTT delegation and expressed hope for continued collaboration in academics, culture, and technology, as both institutions move toward a future of international education together.
