The National Chung Cheng University Library will host the "Seeking Enchanted Field: The Aerial Photography of Pó-tsu-ôo by Lee Chih-hao" from September 2 to November 10 in the Multifunctional Exhibition Hall at CCU Library. This invited exhibition will showcase aerial photography taken over the past five years by Associate Professor Lee Chih-hao from the Graduate Institute of Taiwan Literature and Innovation. The photographs, captured by drone, reveal the hidden beauty of Pó-tsu-ôo, a picturesque landscape nestled in a small rural village.

For the first time, the exhibition will feature a commemorative stamp of Pó-tsu-ôo and a song generated by AI, merging arts with technology to offer visitors a novel visual and auditory experience. Pó-tsu-ôo is located in Donghu Village, Minxiong Township, Chiayi County, just a five-minute drive from National Chung Cheng University. The area is characterized by its charming terraced fields, complemented by woodlands and ponds that form a captivating landscape. Since discovering the aerial beauty of Pó-tsu-ôo in February 2020, Lee Chih-hao has been enamored by the local scenery. Over four years, he has captured thousands of aerial photographs and videos, reflecting the changing seasons and the interplay of time, landscape, sunlight, clouds, and human activity to showcase the breathtaking beauty of Pó-tsu-ôo.

In addition to exhibiting aerial photographs of Pó-tsu-ôo, the exhibition will also include videos filmed simultaneously, poems written by Lee Chih-hao inspired by the area, and a song composed using generative AI. This exhibition celebrates the beauty of Pó-tsu-ôo through multiple perspectives, blending local scenery, cultural aesthetics, and artificial intelligence.

Lee Chih-hao notes that while Taiwan is home to many beautiful spots, they often remain undiscovered due to the lack of cultural resources in rural areas. However, with the aid of modern technology such as aerial photography and generative AI, people can explore and present the beauty of local places from new perspectives. This exhibition aims to demonstrate the fusion of technology and art, proving that with AI's assistance, an impressive exhibition can indeed be curated.

During the exhibition period, the organizers will also host two lectures: "Tips for Aerial Photography" on September 25 and "Imagining Exhibitions in the AI Era" on October 2. The public is warmly invited to visit and experience the unique charm of the intersection between technology and art.
