CCU’s masters’ programs’ written exam was held on the 17th in both
Chiayi and Taipei. The examination hall for CCU was in the Building for
General Education, while examinees in Taipei took their exams in
National Chengchi University. In the 113rd academic year, there were
6,619 examinees for all colleges combined. CCU faculty also mentioned,
the College of Engineering and College of Management were the most
popular fields of interest for students.
CCU masters’ program plans on enrolling 541 students across 47
Departments for the next academic year. 6,998 students participated in
the written exam this year, with 2,918 students in Chiayi and 3,701
students in Taipei. CCU Division of Admissions said, the departments
that attracted the most interest in the College of Engineering were the
Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Computer
Science and Information Engineering, as for the College of Management,
the departments with the most examinees were the Department of Finance
and the Department of Business Administration.
CCU faculty mentioned that, it is because of the government’s gradual
focus on semiconductors and AI development, that attracted many
examinees to participate in said fields. Moreover, CCU’s performance in
smart grid, smart manufacturing, image processing, biomedicine and
information security have consistently proved CCU’s abundant
experiences in these spheres. In addition, 16 scholars from CCU were
honored to be top 2% scientists internationally. Thanks to CCU’s
cultivation of students in these fields, many of them now work in
prestigious enterprises, such as: TSMC, Chimei Innolux Corporation,
CHT and Foxconn Technology Group.
CCU’s examination attendance rate for this year is around 80%, without
any major violations being committed. They plan on releasing the written
exam results on March 13th. However, the Department of Social Welfare
and the Department of Psychology’s Clinical Psychology program will
announce their results on April 12th because of the extra oral exams. All
