The Office of Research and Development (ORD) was established on August 1, 1998. Three divisions (Academic Development Division, Research Liaison Division and Planning and Service Division) promote the academic research and University development . Serving both faculty and students, the CCU-ORD’s responsibilities include:

1. Managing academic research and research centers
2. Managing the cooperation affairs of academic and industrial research services
3. Laying out medium-term and long-term plans for the University and alumni service
4. Other R&D related tasks
